Understanding Your Needs
We start by spending as much time as you need talking through your home, lifestyle, and heating requirements. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we listen carefully and answer your questions.
From this, we can usually provide you with a personalised cost estimate for your heat pump installation. If you’re interested in moving forward, we’ll arrange a free on-site survey to take detailed measurements. This ensures the design is right for your home and allows us to provide you with a firm, fixed quote. We’ll then go through everything with you in detail, making sure you feel confident before committing.
Survey, Design and Planning
During the free on-site survey, our expert engineers measure your home, check insulation levels and radiators, and assess your existing system. Using this information, we design a tailored heat pump system that will deliver the comfort and performance you need.
Installation
Before work begins, we’ll walk you through the installation schedule so you know exactly what will happen and when. We’ll also confirm which areas of your home we’ll need access to, where the outdoor unit will be positioned, the location of the indoor cylinder, and whether any radiators need upgrading. If you’re eligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, we’ll also manage the application on your behalf.
On installation day, our engineers will arrive promptly, introduce the team, and explain the plan for the day. We usually begin by carefully removing your old heating system (if required), before setting up the outdoor unit and connecting it to your indoor cylinder and radiators.
Throughout the process we take care to protect your floors and furniture, keeping disruption to a minimum. You can stay in your home while we work, our teams are efficient, respectful, and deliver every installation to the highest standards, fully compliant with MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) requirements. This ensures your system meets government-backed quality standards and keeps you eligible for grants and warranties.
Commissioning & Handover
Once your heat pump is installed, we don’t just switch it on and leave. Our engineers will commission the system, carrying out all the required checks to make sure everything is working safely, efficiently, and exactly as designed. This includes testing flow rates, setting up controls, and confirming your hot water and heating are performing as expected.
We’ll then take the time to walk you through the system controls so you feel confident using your new heating. This includes:
- How to adjust your heating and hot water settings
- How to set schedules that suit your lifestyle
- Tips for getting the best efficiency from your system
- What to do if you ever notice something isn’t quite right
You’ll also receive a handover pack with all the key information about your system, warranty details, and how to contact us if you need support.
Our goal is to leave you with a system that’s not only installed to the highest standards, but one you feel comfortable and in control of from day one.
Aftercare and Support
Once your system is up and running, we’ll schedule your first annual service and remain on hand for any questions or adjustments. Eaasy Heat is committed to long-term care, not just one-time installs.
